Shania

Teacher

Shania began her dance training at the age of three and has since developed into a versatile and dedicated artist. She has trained extensively in ballet, contemporary,jazz, character, floor barre, and acting. Her classical ballet education encompasses the Vaganova, RAD, Cecchetti, and French syllabi, providing her with a comprehensive and well-rounded technical foundation.

Shania has earned numerous accolades at both local and international competitions. Her achievements include the Grand Prix Award at the Masterpiece International Ballet Competition, a Top 12 placement at the Youth America Grand Prix International Virtual competition, and a Silver Medal at the Global Dance Open World Finals. In recognition of her talent and potential, she has received scholarship offers from the European School of Ballet and the Bolshoi Ballet Academy Summer Intensive.

She has further enriched her training through prestigious summer intensives at the Vaganova Ballet Academy, John Cranko Schule, and Princess Grace Academy, and was a full-time student at the European School of Ballet in 2023. 

Since 2024, Shania has been an assistant at DATD’s annual recitals, where she is a warm, approachable, and valued presence among students.
