Dinie Zainudin
Senior Teacher
Dinie Zainudin is a recent graduate of the BA (Hons) Musical Theatre programme in LASALLE, College of the Arts. She first started dancing at the age of 6 years old and has been dancing ever since. Dinie has trained professionally in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Street Jazz, Contemporary, Tap and Musical Theatre and has been dancing for 17 years.
Whilst training at LASALLE, College of the Arts, she had the opportunity to be under the tutelage of Nikki Snelson (Chicago), Joe Barros (AIDA), Emily Maltby (Fiddler on the Roof), Ferdinand de Leon (Swingin’ 60’s) and Mariel Reyes (The Evolution of Musical Theatre).
Her first professional stage appearance was in the production of Annie (directed by Roger Hannah) at the MBS Theatre at the young age of 14. During her time in LASALLE, she fine-tuned her skills in ballet, jazz and pas de deux. She was also involved in the USS Hollywood Dreams Parade from 2018-2020.
Dinie is not only passionate about performing, but also sharing her love for dance through teaching and inspiring others, especially little leaners which is a huge part of why she is so excited to be a part of DATD. She is joining the team after recently teaching dance at Cambridge Preschool under Nurtureworks Pte Ltd and DATD is extremely excited for her to join the team!
A child at heart, she prides herself in helping her students find the joy, creativity and magic in dance. She is full of energy with a nurturing heart and bubbly personality which is a fantastic fit for the team at DATD.
